Things you should know about the Blue Fire at Ijen Crater in Banyuwangi :
It's a unique sight found only in two places globally - Ijen Crater and Dallol volcano in Ethiopia
The "fire" isn't actual lava, but rather burning sulfuric gases that emerge from the crater at high temperatures, creating blue flames up to 16 feet tall.
The blue fire is visible only during a specific window - roughly 1 hour after sunset and 1 hour before sunrise.
Viewing requires a challenging 1.5-2 hour trek to the crater rim from the starting point at Pos Paltuding.
Despite the strenuous hike, the sight of the electric blue flames flowing down the crater is a truly mesmerizing natural wonder.
IJEN CRATER
Famous for its rare blue fire phenomenon and turquoise acidic lake. It’s also home to traditional sulfur miners.

Located in the southeastern tip of Java, this park features tropical rainforests, the Sadengan savannah, and Plengkung Beach (G-Land), a world-class surfing spot.
Red Island Beach
A stunning beach with white sand and a small reddish hill offshore. Great for surfing and sunsets.
